I love taking pics outdoors. The natural light is great! But when outside it is too cold, I have a small light setup in my basement.

My husband about had a fit when I didn't have a "Girl" model for this halter style sun dress, and so I used our son to model it. Tommy loved modeling this dress for me. I wonder if that is the problem. He did love it! LOL

Photoshoot Information

1. All photo shoots must be booked with a minimum 48 hour prior arrangement. 48 hours notice is also needed in case of cancelation.

2. If you have a special location where you would love to have your photoshoot, please let me know. I am happy to travel to that location.

3. One hour will be planned for your photo shoot. These shoots can include family, individual shots, action shots, etc.

4. Prints are also available. If you would like photos printed for you, a price list will be provided apon request.

5. I use two different labs. One is local and does a very nice job for me, the other is a professional lab and is out of town, for this reason, it may take up to three weeks after the photo shoot, to receive your prints.

6. Calendars and gift items are also available.

My Photography story

Way back when I was in high school, and I say way back lightly, (1978) I found myself Intrigued by photography. I took a simple class and learned a little bit about dark rooms and developing film. It was very interesting and since that time I have been drawn to the Art of photography. It wasn't until 1997 that I was to acquire my first SLR camera. (It was a camera with lenses that I could change.) I really did not know much about using it. In fact, I only ever used the automatic modes. It did take some great pictures though, and I was hooked. When the digital cameras came to be, I wanted to have one sooo desperately. They were not cheap though, and the closest thing I could get to having one was to hold it in my hands in the retail store. :-) It wasn't long though before my dear husband purchased my first DSLR camera, and I was just thrilled! He really did not know what he was getting into. He was very much in the dark when it come to the hobby of photography. Well, as time passed, he purchased me four studio lights, several backdrops, photo props, lenses, umbrellas, an even better camera, speedlite, etc. etc. etc. Like I said, he didn't know what he was getting into. So, now I have to practice, practice, practice. I need to give him back just a bit of what he has given me. I need to hone my skills and become the photographer that I want to be. So, practice makes perfect, or at least perfect practice makes perfect. So, I need to do just that. Thank you Jerry for giving me this opportunity! I could not do this without you!

My Sewing Story

I started sewing when I was 10 years old. I watched my mother sew for years. One day, I asked her if she would teach me. She said sure, and after taking me to a local fabric store, I sat down to start my project. I opened the pattern envelope, and asked my mom what I needed to do. She responded with, "You read the directions." That was it. I had to read the directions and figure it out. When I made a mistake, she would tell me to take out the stitches and read the directions again. And that was the beginning of my sewing adventures.
I am now a mother if six children and have been sewing ever since. I sew for my children, and have been selling on ebay for several years now.
